A Midlothian family was looking to replace their traditional looking garage door with a carriage house look. Apple Door of Richmond proposed and installed a 16 X 7 C.H.I. Model 5633 double- sided steel overlay carriage style door. The panels have a wood grain texture with polystyrene overlay accent boards which are laminated to the sections with high performance adhesives. It has 2 1/2" thick sections that have 1-7/8" foam injected urethane insulation and 27 gauge steel exterior skin.
The 5633 has an incredible 17.54 R-Value which is among the highest available today. The customer selected Sandstone tone with a "Stockton" glass design. This door was designed to give the look of a wooden door without the maintenance. Talk about "curb appeal"!
