Williamsburg

Apple Door Systems expanded east into Williamsburg in 1996 and long term employee, Robert Heath, was asked to head the store up. Williamsburg ultimately became the second independently owned location when the store was sold to Robert and his wife, Lisa Heath. Robert and Lisa live in Williamsburg with their sons Trey who currently works for the Williamsburg store and young enterpreneur Connor who states his goal is to one day take of the family business.

In 2004 Apple Door moved to its current location at 1625 Merrimac Trail, creating one of the most beautiful showroom of doors in Virginia. In 2008, Robert with the help of Lisa, followed in his mentors’ footsteps of growing a successful business by expanding into the Tidewater area and opening a new showroom and service center in Chesapeake.

In 2014, Robert made Harvey “JB” Stewart a minority partner. JB, field personnel supervisor, has been with Apple Door Systems for over 25 years. He was instrumental in the establishment of Apple Door of Williamsburg. Robert’s signature enthusiasm, determination, drive and team of knowledgeable staff have set Apple Door Systems of Williamsburg apart from the competition.
