Have Your Garage Door Serviced Before the Winter Months
Apple Door Systems
Oct 04, 2016
Fall has just arrived and winter is right around the corner. As it begins to get cold, you will want to make sure all of the moving parts of your garage door and opener are functioning properly. The cold weather can certainly affect how smoothly they can operate. A 20 point service inspection by Apple Door Systems will help to ensure that you are not stuck without a properly functioning garage door or opener when it is freezing outside.
For your garage door, we will inspect, adjust and lubricate the springs, rollers, hinges, hardware, bearings and cables. We will check the condition of the sections and the door’s alignment, test the locks for proper operation, check the weather stripping for wear or damage and make sure the mounting pads do not have any cracks or splits.
For your opener, we will perform the UL 325 safety reverse test and inspect for proper operation. We adjust the up & down forces as needed and set the up & down limits as needed. We will tighten the chain or belt and lubricate all drive sprockets. We inspect all wiring connections and remove the cover and check all internal gears as well as making sure the photo-eyes are aligned properly and all remotes and wall stations are tested for proper range and operation.
Call Apple Door Systems today and ask about our Goldstar Maintenance Program. You can choose from two options, a 3 year or 1 year plan. Don’t get stuck out in the cold! 804-674-7774
